The 22@ is one of the most interesting district in Barcelona.
Historically there was a route called Pere IV for France.
And along the street side, lots of houses had been built.
From the modern ages, in the area many factories sprang up.
Recently according to the urban planning the area is changing rapidly to innovative district.
So It's interesting to hang around whole district and discovering something.
There are not only modern characteristic architectures but also transformed buildings.
For me the most attracting buildings were Can Framis, Audio visual campus, Bau- Escola Superior de Disseny, Palo Alto, that are transformed from original intention and utilized to other purposes. I am accustomed to destroy and build a new building without considering the original identities. By the exploration I saw some examples how to keep the identity and make new space.

Seonyu-do is in the middle of Yanghwa Bridge connecting Hanpjeong-dong with Dangsan-dong (110,407㎡) At first, it was a small peak island called Seonyu-bong, which was very well-known for beautiful scenery among Chinese envoys. From 1978 to 2000, it was used for Water Purification Basin. And Opened as Seonyu-do Park in April, 2002.
There are 4 themes using the purification basin in the park. They are Recycled the settling basin of medicines and decorated with many kinds of plants. For example recycled a filter basin has became aquatic botanical garden.
